Want To Snowboard Find Out Where To Start

by Robert Marcus
Back in 1998 The Burton snowboarding company and a team of expert snowboarding instructors joined forces to create the Burton learn to ride Program. This program is geared to make learning snowboarding easy and fun. There are a lot of people that come to the slopes, try learning to snowboard and then never return, this could be due to the lack of fun they had during their lesson. The 'Learn to Ride' program has been designed in a way that will make the learning of snowboarding an enjoyable experience so that they will come back to the slopes again and again.

So what the difference between the learn to ride program and just hiring a instructor. Well the main difference is that they have a proven learning method which has been improved over time. Another difference is that you are also given equipment that is tailored for beginners by age and gender. This will help you get to the next level a lot sooner.

Through the work that Burton has done with the instructors they have created tailored solution that promotes an enjoyable experience for the rider. The program is now in its seventh year of operation, even though the program has expanded to many resorts across the world, They have maintained the initial goal of providing an enjoyable experience using the specialized equipment. Burton has also taken the program to another level by providing classes for kids, adults ladies and freestyle.

Adults
As the Name suggests the program provides customized classes for adults.

Kids
The Kids Learn to ride centres provide children under the age of 12 with lessons such as balance board and activities like finger board parks. The participating resorts create an unmatched atmosphere for the children which will allow children as young as three to start snowboarding.

Women's
The Learn to ride program also provides an encouraging environment for ladies. The classes tend to be smaller with more one on one time with the instructors.

Freestyle
Now lets say that you got the basics down but your still no satisfied with just turning and stopping. Well the Learn to ride program has something for you. They will help you to reach that next level of Freestyling, where you'll be juming off those half pipes in no time.
