WAITE PARK — A skateboarding and snowboarding supply business has a new location and new owners.
Youth Shelter Supply moved this month to 71 Third St. NE in Waite Park.
Mike Thienes and Mike Pettit bought the store in June from Emmet Klocker. Klocker had owned the business since it opened in 1998.
The new 4,500-square-foot location is about 2,000 square feet larger than the old location and is closer to the Crossroads Center, Pettit said.
Pettit said the new owners plan to expand the store’s clothing and footwear lines with the additional retail space.
The new location also has storage space and offices.
The store has eight employees.
The business can be reached at 656-7773.
