Back Country Snowboarding

Do you want to do a little backcountry snowboarding? If you are unfamiliar with the area it is wise to sign up the services of an experienced guide. Before you do this ask friends who may have snowboarded in the region for a recommended guide. If you don't know anyone you may like to search the internet for some feedback.

Another alternative is to ask the resort where you are staying for recommendations. A little research before your trip can save you. The 'right' guide can 'make' the experience. Find out if the guide is qualified and a member of one of the Mountain Guide Associations.
