Snowboard Bindings

The type of binding you will need will be determined by the boot you chose. Hard boots require 'plate' bindings which clip onto the toe and heel. You will need a 'shell' or 'freestyle' binding for soft boots.

Unlike ski bindings most snowboard bindings do not release in a fall. As both feet are attached to snowboards there are less rotary fractures and sprains than you get with skiing...
