Threadbo

Australia's Thredbo uses extensive snowmaking and hosts some of the longest runs on the continent. Thredbo, Australia is at an altitude of 1370m (4495ft). The field opened in the early 1950's by Austrian and Czech immigrants who were involved in the building of the Snowy Mountain Hydro Electric Scheme.
